glued on. i grabbed mine and ripped it off. Use a body easier wheel to get the glue stuff off.

it depends do you have the full molding or just the strip? if its the strip then it will just pull off with a little heat if needed. If its the full big piece then i dont know

x2 I've never removed the moldings on my XJ but I work with the 3M remover at work all the time, it works wonders at removing the sticky residue!

from my experience the thin strip side moldings are just on there with 3m tape and come off pretty easily, the full moldings have clips behind them, like the ones on the grands.

I removed my trim by pulling it off then I removed most all the residue by rubbing it off w/my thumb, then I bedlined it w/U-pol Raptor check it out.....

And it creeped up under the doors nice with them closed when I sprayed them.....

Thanks it was really easy, the prep took 5X the spraying but it was worth it in the end, especially considering the rust that was forming on the bottoms of the rockers, it wouldn't have made it another salt loving winter up here w/out making my rockers look like swiss cheese. Oh yea I only used a 1/4 of the supplied material w/the U-Pol Raptor kit ($110 to my door), up next inside bottoms of doors, bumpers and some sliders I picked up. The stuff really covers nice and looks pretty good IMO.

I wouldn't have posted pics but your sig convinced me too here is one more before the bed lining, connected f/r

Cooper STTs are the best tire i have bought to date! They are quiet and i have yet to find a terrain that they have trouble in. Clay, rocks, mud, awesome in the snow, etc.
