How far are you willing to drive to get an axle?

My engine is a inline 6, 4.0. Not really sure what the tranny is; can't check right now because it's pouring outside, but if you tell me where to look for some indication, I can find out once it stops. The year is 1988.

I drove to NJ to pick up this car in the first place, so lets use that as a basis. ...Although I would have to get a friends help, since I doubt I could make it that far in my Jeep. xP
