OP, if you are considering a lift kit, do a complete job, once. Don't piecemeal it. Get rid of those blocks while you're at it.

DW is another matter.
I am in a quandary on the DW as I had the track bar and tie rod ends replaced and had an alignment done at the 4Wheel parts store here in Tucson. I would have assumed that if any other parts were bad they would have replaced them. I am leaning toward the tires being the culprit as they seem to be cupping a bit. I am planning on a tire rotation(front to back) to see if that changes anything and then new tires if it doesn't.
I am looking for a good 3" lift kit & am trying to decide whether to try and fix the death wobble now or after the lift is installed.

For the DW replace worn parts while you are doing the lift, test more after the lift if still present. If it isn't true DW check your tire/wheel balance. Assuming you are going to do the lift soon. Never assume an autoshop is going to do more than what you have asked them to do, or that the technician working on your vehicle is familiar with it.

That's a mistake...

....and that's the right answer.

BTW, cupping can mean a few different things. Find and fix the source of the cupping and you might solve the DW.

Always in the past I have had the mechanic working on my vehicle come and try to sell me more things than initially quoted, and as a rule the guys at 4wheel parts are no different. I did rotate my tires front to back on the same side, checked the air pressure, and road tested. The wobble was still there, but not as bad and came in at a higher speed. Another side to that was i was able to get a better picture of my left spring. It is flat. I also found that I need to do rear brakes. Looks like tomorrow will be busy.
