Replacing front shocks
I have to replace my front shocks on my '98 XJ. I see the Bilstein 5100 Consistently recommended as some of the best, the problem is my XJ is at stock height for now so unless I am mistaken, the 5100's would be too long. I have seen the 4600's recommended for stock height, would these be good for both the stock height and the 2" lift I want to put on in the near future? If not, is there a better shock to use for this? I am more concerned with ride quality than I am cost as I'd rather do this job just once.
