Default Shock Relocation

Any Merit in this? My stock mounts have a bit of rust in this area. Thanks

looks like a good idea would also work as an extension if you have upgraded lift. My only concern for you is the rust. Do you have enough metal left to weld/bolt is the question.

Still in pretty good shape. Running a 6.5" LA on 33's and the shock mount just look like a weak point. Thanks.

You could always weld some flat stock to the part and then weld it in this would give it a stronger "foot print".

just get BPE's

edit... didnt notice it was cus of rust... you could weld your rear shock mount to where the shock would mount, if you can find enough good metal to weld to your golden... carful the gas tank is right there...

I'm wondering...if the bolts are already in a bad way, the extenders are just going to fit up to the same mount points. Can't see the value unless it is too extend the effective length of the shock. If the bolt mounts are in good shape, greasing the whole area and the bolts will do as much good.

BTW, Titus...that's one I rarely read. Don't know why, just rarely look at it. Good one, though.
