Depends on what particular bushings youre asking on, but on the "eye" bushings I would say to

#1. Spray with pb blast (or what ever it is you normally use)

Options

A. Use an air hammer with a chisel attachment with the unit (shock) properly supported to get it out.

B. Use a hammer and chisel/punch to get it out.

C. Try to get small particles out at a time with a knife or something...

D. Not totally recommended but if all else fails, and you NEED them off. CAREFULLY burn them out...preferably with the piece off the unit, and somewhere safe.

Install

Lightly lube the bushing where it makes contact with the piece, push into place....

Hammer with a matching dowel rod (round wood) to the size of the bushing, use the wood as a punch....if theyre not stuck in there too bad!

It all depends on how stuck they are....and how careful YOU are!

You can use a big vice and 2 sockets.
