This and the flooring it at 33mph at 3k sounds like your just skipping your second gear completely, which is the reason why it takes so much to push forward. But I can't be 100% sure unless I'm there. So just to double check my guess is right, take it to the trans shop and have them run a checkup so you don't go buying parts you won't need

Skipping 2nd gear sound like a 1-2 solenoid going bad.If you are going down the roar at say 50 MPH keep you foot on the gas and tap the brake pedal. The RPMs should raise up about 3-500 RPMs. That is the test for the overdrive solenoid.. I you unplug the TCU the trans will only **** manually. This will prove the trans is mechanically sound. Here are link to testing the solenoids

Sorry here are some good links
http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthrea...+shift+problem

There is a link on the first page that shows the test procedure. The solenoids cost around 210 bucks with a gasket and filter at the vendor in the link.
I did this repair about a month ago I had simular symptoms.
The job took about 2 hours to replace the solenoids.

Seriously? Do you not have a phone? You really seem to know how to dodge good advice Sorry, I don't have any, other than what others have already suggested.. i.e. take it to a tranny shop for a free diagnostic.. then let THEM fix it FOR you.
