Delayed shifting
Any idea why my 98 v8 5.2 would be delaying going into 2 gear unless I get on it then it'll switch any ideas the fluid is full...[QUOTE=NewJerseyXJ609;2352373]Definitely replace the tps.. Here in the states it's about a 25$ part...
A bad tps will cause an off idle and sporadic shifting patterns... It's a good place to start.
While your replacing the tps take your throttle body off (four 10mm bolts) and clean the whole thing out. Take all of the sensors off the throttle body and clean them too. A bad iac will cause weird idle too... So it doesn't hurt to clean those sensors especially if you have the throttle. Body off anyways.
If that doesn't do the trick I would go to your speed sensor next..[/QUOTE
