shifter question

shifter question
Hi guys,
The manual transmission (the shifter) on my 91 XJ seems tobe tilted somehow to the left.. meaning it’s hard to shift into and out offirst and 2nd gear.. 5th gear is at the angle that 3rdused to be..
My initial though is perhaps motor mounts are shot on oneside??? The thing is that I have no weird vibrations or anything….
One owner Jeep, we swapped the engine about 10 years ago butI don’t remember it being like that… The other thing was a transfer case drop,would that cause it??
