I have a 96 xj, 4.0, auto. I was taking out my abs light because it stays on ever since I put a new rear end in and I put the light in an empty hole figuring why not. I put the light in the socket for the shift light and now it comes on at less than 2000 rpms. Should I just remove it and ignore or is there something going on that would make the light come on?
