Shackle help

I just put in a 3" lift with new RC leaf packs. Are your shackles supposed to hanging straight down, backwords or forwords.

you have stock shackles? if so dont worry about it

You want them to lean back a bit for the best ride and flex.

I put my new ones on snug then lowered the jeep back to the ground then tightened them

ALWAYS torque suspension bolts with the suspension loaded, ON THE GROUND.

Shackle should lean toward the back. With stock shckles it is common for them to be verticle after a lift. You can fix with longer shackle or with a shackle relocation kit, http://www.hdoffroadengineering.com/...relocation-kit. longer shackle will add lift.
