Default Serpentine belt issues, HELP!!

Well, I have now replaced my serpentine belt a total of three times, every time I made sure all the pulleys were clean/debris free, checked for anything that might be touching the belt while its moving and adjusted the tension perfectly, but something still keeps happening. It seems like the belt is shredding into little strips from the radiator side to the engine. The problem also seems to occur only in higher RPM or when the engine is under load, today it was coming up the highway from work and passing a truck, when I started to smell rubber. I got home opened the hood, only to find half of a belt still holding onto the pulleys. This happened when I changed my old belt also. The other times the belt just came right off, only to be eaten up and tangled in the fan.

Anyways!, this is getting expensive!, does anyone have any theories or Ideas? Or had a similar experience?

Thanks for any advice/feedback, Adam.

May be some component (A/C, Alternator,....) is (just a little) out of line, tilted respect the others.

You may have a bearing that is gone in one of the idlers and has the pulley out of alingnment an it doesn't do anything until you put a little torque to the bearing/idler....
