seems alittle high

Default seems alittle high

ok so the other day i was wondering what my XJ wieghed so i went to a truck scale and drove on it and found out that my XJ is sitting in at 4080 lbs i thought these things should only be around 3300 lbs

larger tires weigh a lot, also looks like you have a rack? got stuff in your trunk? weight adds up quick

Bigger tires weigh a ton. The rack also adds to the weight, and then you also have to consider yourself. When you drive on the scale your still in the vehicle Im assuming. Also those scales are always a bit off depending on where the scale is. I know the scrape yard scale here is WAYY off. But what they do is have you drive on it weigh it, have you empty the metal and then reweigh the vehicle to get the correct amount of metal on the vehicle.
