I promise I have searched around and done some reading about this whole tire/lift fit question lol. Im looking at doing 3-3.5" lift, some 15x8 wheels, and from what It seems most people use is 31" tires to not have any issues. My question is i have been thinking about getting the bushwacker over fenders, Will that give me clearance to put 32"s on there or will they not really help that much.


Also im a little confused with backspacing on the wheels on which to choose 4" 4.75".... Im thinking the 4" but im kinda clueless, If anyone could shed some light on this stuff that would be great. Thanks in advance

 

Considering I've seen people on 33s at 3" with Bushwackers, yeah, 32s should be fine. Some people even run them on the stock flares, but they either have to bumpstop it pretty hard or don't mind rubbing.

 

Backspacing is the distance from the area of the rim that bolts to the hub on the axle to the inside edge of the rim. An eight inch rim that has 4 inches of back spacing, means that where it bolts to the hub is half way between the front rim edge and the rear rim edge. A rim with 4.75 inches of back spacing has another 3/4 of an inch between the hub and the inside edge of the rim. In other words the wheel and tire will sit deeper into the wheel well with the 4.75" BS.
