Its not as bad as the typical seafoam question.
I just put half a can through the booster, it started up and ran a quarter mile like a diesel train, and smoked for another couple miles.
My questions is, so much crap came out, should I run the other half of the can now to clean the rest of that buildup or wait a couple months...

I am NOT a fan of seafoam. I believe it is squeezed out of snakes.
Did your Cherokee seam happy to be having the treatment. Tell you what, you take a good dose of cod liver oil and if you really enjoy it have at it with the seafoam and your good friend Cherokee. If the cod oil doesn't go down so well you now know how your rig feels. Stop the seafoam insanity
.
My appologies for the soap box speech, I really don't go for the snake oil in a can and my Chero is over 474000 km.

I was skeptical, which is why i only got one can instead of the whole two, three can foam treatment. BUT, im a now a fan of the seafoam, i noticed a much smoother idle, and I use less RPMS to accelerate. Im about to calculate a new mpg with it sometime next week.

I use it periodically in my dd Contour, and when I rebuilt another Contour for my daughter I soaked the pistons with it before I rebuilt the top end. It really cleaned out the crud when I got it all timed up and fired up. Works, yes!

I thought the same thing, I only waited a week, until the seafoam in my tank ran out, I did the booster again then drove it and left it with regular gas running. I agree with above, I got much smother idle and better MPG, but after you do it the second time I wouldn't do it right away after that... It'll be good for a long while.

I figured id wait a little. I used to watch friends do it with civics for ****s and giggles and the smoke that came outta my rig was 100x what i saw from theirs. Me and my buddy looked like cheech and chong at the stop light with the engine bay smokin up a hellstorm

I am glad your net result is good, I am still not a fan, too violent a treatment for carbon removal for my liking. Where do the particles go? Too much internal residue removed too quickly for my liking. No need to please me here, you do what your comfortable with. Just I like a little additive treatment over a longer period of application. My valve train is running clean, my plugs are clean and shaded just a light tan, my injectors are old as noahs ark and fireing smoothly. Sorry I just don't like the all at once type treatment. Good luck in the mileage test.

I use it in my Mustang and I love it.
here's the way it's usually best used.
Pour 1/3 in your Gas Tank
Then Pour 1/3 into your oil directly.
Then start it up and with a friend put the other 1/3 into the Vacuum line or the brake booster line and then shut the car off
Let it sit for 15-20 minutes
Fire it up, let it idle for a little bit, you'll notice the slight smoke.
Then once you get your revs up to about 1,500-2,000 it should smoke like diesel truck (like you experienced). The less smoke though, the less gunk was in your engine. Last time I did it to my Mustang, nothing came out at all. The Jeep is still waiting for its first seafoam. Probably in the next week or so here.
Anyways, I'd say take your remaining portion of the can you currently have and save it until next time.
But whatever you do, CHANGE YOUR OIL RIGHT NOW. You don't want that crap to sit in there. It works miracles once it's run through, but it can do some damage if it sits in there. I recommend and oil change within 25-30 miles of seafoaming a vehicle. I also recommend no gasoline with ethanol additives for the first 50-75 miles after seafoaming too. I've seen best results using gasolines like Shell or anything with as little ethanol additives as possible for that period of time.

Please dont tell me i gotta change my oil, i just did it before I seafoamed, i thought putting it through a vacuum line eliminates the need to change oil since i didnt put it in the oil well...

The most frequently asked question about using Sea Foam is as follows: “After using Sea Foam in my oil, fuel, or through the vacuum line (to clean carbon from the combustion chamber) do I need to change my oil?” The short answer is: No you don’t have to change your oil after using Sea Foam in any application.

Are you saying that if he puts it in through vacuum line that he has to change his oil? That doesn't make sense either...
