Exclamation sank my jeep. help!!!!!!

ok so i sank my jeep into a lake doing some wheelin at moses lake in eastern wa. i got it to my camp sight where i drained the oil took out the plugs and cranked it over. no water shot out but there was about half a quart of watter in my oil. i got new oil and filter in it and it started right up but clyinder one on my inline 6 is not firing. i checked all the plugs wires and dist cap..... any ideas on why one cylinder is not firing? could it be a valve?

if you have 30psi of compression on #1, that's why it is not firing. Check all 6 with your comp. tester and post up the results.

30 psi...
Squirt some oil in the cylinder and see if it comes up. If so its rings, if not, its valves.

if it went in runnin, there is a good chance it's a valve.

if it took in enough water, it could be a bent rod... can't compress a liquid. any noise?

You probably still have moisture somewhere. Did you drain the fuel tank? Could be water in your fuel.

With that angle, it looks like you submerged the air intake.
