i have recently noticed that my jeep obviously came with the factory -2" drop kit in the rear i am going to go to the jy this weekend just wondering if you can tell if the leafs are the heavy duty version or the reg. duty version pics would really help...or if anyone in pa knows of a place to get cheap leafs at would help

 

Im pretty sure they are all the same... there isnt really and HD versions of XJ's.

I could be wrong though!

 

There is a heavier version, on the towing package I think. You would find them on the models with the D44. OUtside of that, hard telling if you will ever see one. They measure 1 1/8" as opposed to 1" for standard.

 

hhmm i got my dana44 from a local junkyard and i pulled it... the springs was still there... wonder if i should get them and make the s10 bastard pack with them instead? lol

 

thnx guys i hopefully i find some lift leaf springs and coils and ill be set...i wish... anything else good to grab at the jy thats worth having off other cherokees or other jeeps(beside the v8gc coils)

 

It would make very little difference. The s10 spring is much more spring than the XJ spring.

 

if you dont already have one find a fiberglass speaker bar for the back of your cherokee... i found one for mine and stuck it up front... there another cherokee with one still there actually...
