i have sagging leaf springs on my 95... i plan on lifting it about 2 1/2 inches.. would i need new leaf springs or does the add-a-leaf work well and then add the lifting blocks?

I put an add a leaf onto barely sagging springs and they started sagging a whole lot more within a month. Not to say they are the problem, obviously they were getting weak, but I don't think once they start sagging add a leaf will do anything but buy you a little time.

When you say 'sagging spring' are they flat or are they bent the wrong way?

I would build s10/dakota bastard packs. which means using the leafs out of the rear of one of those two vehicles and add some of the leafs into your stock xj leaf pack and you are suppose to gain like 4.5" of lift depending on how many leafs you actually add. On my XJ my leafs were sagging pretty bad so I add long add a leafs and made some longer shackles and I gained like 4" of lift and that was a few months ago and I haven't seen any sagging and I don't think that I will anytime soon. I seen in your earlier posts you said you were going to use blocks, stay far away from blocks all they do is cause problems in the long run. Blocks just cause axle wrap among other things. If you can afford new leafs buy lift leaf springs or build them.
