Strangely that makes me think of this girl named Tricia ....
Any chance of an underhood pic as well ?
I'm good wiff PVC, I'm about making things that function, not spending money just to have the thing.
Is there a tech build post on this item anywhere ? Anyone ?
Now ... where's Tricia's number ?

Maybe I shouldn't have posted anything about a snorkel... In my opinion, it looks terrible.
HOWEVER IT MIGHT BE VERY FUNCTIONAL, just to give your buddy some credit for building the thing. But I want my jeep to look good since I put so much work into it already.
and crayons?... lol i have nothing to say about that comment. If you want to go cheap and rig everything you should have bought a bronco II.

Gidday Ramac.... I can assume that as you own a '2000 XJ, you will have the ABS system, windsheild water bottles, making the fitting of 'snorkel' tubes a little difficult.
I'm interested in what items you use, as I am considering the same Snorkel idea.

To tell you the truth, I would have to go look at it... right now at 2 in the morning when its freezing outside
..... I guess its time for a cigarette break lol. I'm hoping I'll just use a different reservoir from another jeep or other vehicle to relocate it. I'll get back to you in a few.
But this is what the Safari Snorkel company wants you to do which is obviously difficult as you
stated... I think they give you a replacement bottle that is a little smaller to fit. Go here to the bottom of the page: http://www.safarisnorkel.com/guides/.../ss1195HF.html
