Easy lift could be daystar pucks, and lift blocks from pepboys. Everyone may say yay or nay to the blocks, but i have been running on my $32.00 blocks from pepboys for 3 years and have never had a problem! comes with U bolts and all. 50 ish bucks for the spacers / 35 for the blocks and a pretty simple install.
my 2 cents.

Check out BDS lift kits very good lifts, and no run around with the lifetime warrenty like you will have with almost all the rest, plus its made in america.
You dont have to break stuff when you offroad. I offroad all the time and only break stuff when i try to go somewhere i should'nt ( broken stuff means dont go there again) be. Put your tires on and maybe an aussie locker and you will do just fine.
well if you do come around (and i think you will, a wrangler isn't going to carry all your toys
) i recommend Rocky Road's budget lift
http://www.rocky-road.com/xjbudget.html
Includes shackles, spacers and BPEs. It's all stuff you can use later when you decide to go bigger and you don't have to mess with aal or bastard packs. The BPEs add 1.5" to the shocks so you can use your stock ones, and then put that money towards a track bar which you will need.
Just remember to soak everything in pb blast a day before and keep in mind that some of the bolts will break off. Be prepared to drill/tap (not as bad as it sounds)
