Default rusty roof and gutters.

So this was like this when i bought it slightly rusted and spray painted over, lol worked for a bit but id rather a more permanent fix..

what are your guys recomendations?

i could take off those black strips sand it down primer and paint..
or i could just paint it with RUST MORT

idk ive never done any jobs like this so annny advice is helpful.

the proper way is to remove the strips, sand it down, use a rust preventative, prime it, paint it, wet sand, paint, wet sand, clear coat, wet sand, clear coat.

lol anyone know someone who does a reputable miracle paint job for a decent price.

ill grab a wrench and turn bolts but sanding and painting isnt necesarilly my thing hahaha unless the price is so steep that i become convinced.

DA to bare metal, seal the metal, scuff with 320, prime, wetsand with 600, base, clear, wetsand and buff if needed. Done.

Its an afternoon project if you get everything you need for materials, and have a basic understanding of refinishing.

Plan for a weekend if you have no idea.

Just remember. The size of the repair will grow 300+% by the time you are finished.

"Painted" mine with Herculiner several years ago...end of problem.
