So I got a new axle from the JY yesterday and I went to take the drum off but I couldn't. So I went to adjust the wheel through the little hole in the backing plate, but that is rusty. Can I hit that with some PΒ? Just wasnt sure how PB and brakes were together. Thanks

 

Shouldn't hurt it, but won't you replace the brake's anyhow since they've been sitting in a junkyard. I highly think they aren't much good.

 

I have used brake clean with success after getting oil or grease on the pads or rotors.

 

If it's seized on the hub heat will really help allot.

 

Thanks everyone, I started to hit it with PBlaster today. If that doesn't work, I'll heat up the hub
