Default Rust in gas tank

Is there something you can put in a gas tank that can get rid of rust.

Take the tank off kerosene and washers swash it around and that should do it

Already did that. You can buy some stuff that dissolves rust and seals it so it doesn't keep on rusting, but I don't know if you can use that in the tank. Has anybody ever tried that before.

Eastwood company gas tank sealer.As you have found out once a metal tank rust's you have to seal it,and swashing? I think he means sloshing (lol) No amount of that silliness will work.
