I'm having a starting issue, but only when cold. I have to pump the gas until it fires and then hold on it until it stays running. Runs just fine after. It will start right up when warm. This just started recently within the past week. Jeep is 92 4.0 manual. I have replaced:

Battery
Starter
Fuel pump
Cps
Tps
Iac
Cts
Plugs
Wires
Cap
Rotor button
Ignition coil

I have reset the computer and get no codes. I have blue spark and fuel pressure at the rail. I'm not sure what's left to check. Fuel pressure regulator? Oil pressure sensor? Any help would be appreciated. I'll be at work all day, but I will check on breaks and work on it tonight.

See if it does it with the belt off. Could be a crappy alternator or you still have a bad battery, or charging system wiring issue.

I can try that when I get home. Batt charges as far as I can tell. Tests fine too. I'll pull around later and have them do a test at work for me.

Just did a system test. Passed great. Started right up to. But it was sitting in the sun.

Other things to consider are the ETC and the O2. Those are two sensors that help control fuel trims

I unplugged the o2 and got the same results. Is there an etc on it? I thought that's what the tps and iac were for.

Update. Got out of work and it was colder than it was this morning when it wouldn't start. And what does it do? Starts right up first try.

You already replaced your coolant temp sensor?

Yes I did. And this morning at 17* it fired right up first try. So the problem is definitely intermittent.

Possibly a bad ground. I'd do a ground refresh. It couldn't hurt

Right on. I've been hitting up everyone I could find and spraying it with ncp-2 after I cleaned them.

Electronic throttle control. I don't think that there is one though. But feel free to prove me wrong!

TPS? (throttle position sensor)
Be sure the little tube from the inside of the throttle body, back then up to the MAP sensor on the firewall is FLAWLESS! If that get's bumped, cracked, clogged no doubt that's trouble.

X2 on the grounds. Might be a brown/white stripe at both the map and TPS. Less than one ohm from there to battery negative is peachy! You might check Cruiser's link on checking earlier jeeps is in my signature.
