Running Hot!
Could a messed up/plugged Cat cause my 1994 Cherokee Country to get up to about 230 degrees while idling, but then run around 210 like normal when driving at like 45 mph??

Yeah, mechanical fan is very strong. Hear it really well inside the jeep when cruising. Also seems good at Idle. Don't really know how to check more than that.

Tested that, I can spin the fan a little with one finger, but it doesn't like keep going at all. It's pretty stiff.

Just died on me actually, after I wired it to a switch in the cab. Switch is good, fan just died. But even while the fan wasn't working, but Jeep never got above 210 while just driving. Now while I idle it creeps to like 230/240, but when I'm cruising it stays under 210 like normal. I'm stumped. Slightly leaky Radiator I've had for a while, but never did the heat-climb even with that.

Like I said i wired the Auxiliary fan to a switch so I can just flip it on when I know I'll be running her hard, but even when the fan never came on it wouldn't creep above 210 unless I was in 4x4 off roading. Now idling it'll hit 230.
