i think you want us all to say yes RC is a great company you'll be 100% satisfied with them", but the truth is you get what you paid for. I beat my jeep like no other, havent dented or bent a single componet because rubicon express provides the best materials possible. there is no doubt (in my opinion unarguably they come with much more componets than RC) that rubicon express is higher up than rough country, one reason people like rubicon express is their lifts perform very well on the road, if yours is mainly an on road vehicle like you stated before, perhaps you should consider this. your steering and suspension response will be much different than if you used a RC. one option would be sticking with a 3.5" lift, that way you can afford it i Think theyre only like $700ish as opposed to $1000+. Anyway, jsut my 2 cents. As for shocks, can you substitute for any shock you want? Or perhaps buy it without shocks then get some OMEs from a 3rd party dealer?

and as i stated before i have had no experience with any other lift, i find my steering to be great, but this is also coming from me and i have never driven a jeep with a higher end and as you say better components so basically it comes down to your choice and what your wanting in the lift and what kind of quality you want.
