I have a 98 cherokee 4.0 that runs fine when its cold but after it warms up when i go to pull out sometimes it hesitates like its not getting fuel so i let off the pedal and get back on it itll pop threw the snorkel and itll run and idel fine for a few mins. I changed the plugs wires cap rotor injectors and its still doing it. No check engine light either idont know what else to do can anyone point me in the right direction?

 

Change your coil pack and or coil packs. Check your grounds as well.

 

Dont have coil pack and all my grounds are good checked them twice

 

No coil packs on the 98.

Have you ever replaced the CPS?

Ive been reading for days and changing everything everyone's tried and its still popping idk what else to do thats why i posted on here.

 

Finally figured out the problem the idle air bypass on the throttle body was all gummed up and nasty i cleaned it out and now shes running good as new.
