Stay away from RC shocks...they're cheap..that's one of the ways they make their lifts so affordable..but your back pays for it in the end.

So are you saying everything but the shocks are good from RC?

Well I'm on a budget and need new shocks. The ones that are on the Heep now are the factory ones with 191k on them so I think anything would be an upgrade.

Was looking at Nitro-charged Napa/Gabriel/Monroe shocks as well. They're cheap and multitube. I know that cheap shocks are cheap shocks and like I said previously anything is better than what I have now. I might ride down to NAPA tomorrow to see what they have. $24 a pop for the Reflex model is a steal. Most of the guys that work their have Tellico-Conquering vehicles so maybe they'll be able to help me out more than the retards at our local Advance.

For the money...RC lifts are decent. If you're going big lift 6.5" definitely go w/ long arms and better shocks.

Yep just head to NAPA and they should get you all fixed up. You are only at 2" so it's not like you need the best shock in the world. A good gas charged shock will do just fine for your rig. Once you can afford a bigger lift make sure you don't cheap out on shocks. I wish I had bought better shocks and once I finish other things up I will be getting better shocks.
