Default " rough country lift, cant put on front skid plate?

Hello All,

I installed a 3" rough country lift / Full leaf springs with sway bar drop down brackets on my 99 cherokee sport 4.0-4x4..
I did it like a month ago.. Lift went in with no major issues, But I can't seem to get my front skid plate back on cause the sway bar is in the way now..

Did I do something wrong or is this normal?

Thanks,

Ant...

Normal. Same thing happened with my RE lift. Instructions omit this little known fact.. Will have to mod something so it will fit, or find a way to drop the skid by like 4 to 5 inches...

Or get extended sway bar links from RE or some other vendor which will eliminate the need for the drop brackets do you can put your skid plate back on.

I have long adjustable discos from jks. Does not solve the problem of them touching the spring. Hence the relocator...

Ah, well I know with mine, the RE links, the passenger side is much closer to the spring than the driver side. I have no idea why, new I IRO lower control arms are the same exact length. Could be worn out bushing on the upper control arms which I know mine are original.

I have new IRO both lower and upper, still to close. I could switch sway bar to the Adeco one, which seem to fit better, but it says 'not for Limited' in all the catalogs.. Alas, mine is a Limited..
