Clicking before engaging

Model: Cherokee
Engine: 4.0 HO
Clicking before engaging
In 4x4 ? D30 front axle 242 TC. So background it has fresh fluid ( in both diff's ) , a couple of times it has mad a harsh bang sound when it engages the front axle, now it making a clicking noice while it try's to engage. So to fix this what should I be looking to do
