Everyone doesn't say that. The whos the best argument has been raging for years. I have yet to see a clear winner. The only thing I found is that most people like what they have, until they break it, then they say the stuff is crap. Even if they got years of use and abuse out off a part. It broke so its crap. Nobody ever considers that They BROKE the part and that the part didn't break itself.
If you were to do a poll between say Rough country and Say Rustys, as to which is better. It would be pretty close to an even split. If you were to add IRO, who is the up and coming good guy at the moment, they would probably come out on top by a small margin. If you were to do Rubicon express vs anybady 2 tears ago RE would when by a long shot. If you did that RE vs anybody poll today, RE wouldn't do so good.

I always go with "you get what you pay for" when it comes to price it's always what you are willing to pay.
I don't think any one brand is better than another unless your buying suspension and again you get what you paid for.

i have rough country rear leafs and yes they front leaf spring bushing is crap, i replaced it in 3 months with a poly bushing and am very satisfied otherwise. as long as you keep the new flex joints greased they should do great. i always re-grease mine before i go out wheeling...and after i drive through water that goes over the axles i grease them again just to be safe. i always grease my tie rods before a trail as well

trans-am... can you elaborate on how/what you did to replace the bushing? From day one I have had problems with them, and now the leaf eyes just slide around on the bushing. I do not want the stock RC CRAP.
My problems with the 4.5" LA:
leaf spring bushings slide around
rear shock broke off first time wheeling
they supplied the wrong sized bolts for a ton of crap.
backordered.. took 3 months to get
the U-bolts supplied are JUNK. I upgraded with ubolts from a local shop.
pros:
performance, it flexes like crazy
smooth ride
good protection
nice welds
greasable jonhnny joints
long brake lines included
If I could, I would have gone with another company for LA.
