I have cut open hundreds over the years for my personal and race cars they are not all the same of even built the same. They will show you the amount of filtering material in them and early warning signs of engine failure for what type of metal is in them. On the race cars I changed every weekend along with oil and both the oil filters. Anyone that watch's their engines this is a must do item.

I personally run the NAPA NASCAR Racing filters in mine and a Gold on all the rest/Wix if no NAPA around.

Yup. It's a disappointingly common design!

LOL.. Mmmmmmm yum! thats where the little stone went.. always better second time around.

Also the anti drain back valve looks just as bad as the Fram.. gotta Love those dry starts.

its starting to look like a cheap orange can of death wrapped in different paint for Rotella

Nothing like a thread on oil filters to get the villagers stirred up! I'm convinced you could leave an oil filter lay in parking lot and two guys would walk over and start a conversation about it's quality.

laughing aside, oil filters are an important piece to a healthy engine.

Had hi hopes for this one considering their oil.
Looks unanimous, another filter off the list.
