I'm very happy with my Warn sliders. there are so many companies that offer them. You need to find ones that tie everything in. When my XJ was on a lift my driver door would drag when you opened it. Now the body doesn't flex as mush

Welcome to CF from Washington state. I love my JCR Off Road stage II rock sliders. They have saved my Jeep and my butt many times. Full loaded weight of my XJ has come down on these things and they just laugh...LOL. Though, they are a little more spendy than when I bought mine 2 years ago.

you shouldn't be impacting down self-tapping bolts.

the C-ROK rails come in a pretty cool system rails with rocker skins that beef up your rocker panels... but it is a matter of preferance and budget.

I vote for the JCR ones and they bolt through the frame and thus an impact wrench may be used to tighten those eight bolts. As stated no impact on self tappers.

I bought these from Iron Rock and really like their strength and appearance.

The pics show screws to the frame, but they actually come w/bolts. They were pretty easy to install.

x's 2 on helping with unibody flex. I have fewer rattles and squeaks now.

those are nice but if it was me I would add a few more mounting points on it just to give it a bit more strength.

I love my WP Rock Barz. They are the only ones I've seen with an integrated step.

I have yet to test them out because I just got them mounted last week but I LOVE MY JCR's!!!! I realy wanted stage 2's and was about a wek away from ordering them when out of the blue I found a set of brand new stage 1's on craigslist for less than the price of stage 1's BEFORE shipping. I figured for the price I couldnt beat it. I could pay cash, have em right then and there no waiting for em to be built and THEN shipped across country and if for some reason I still want stage 2's I could always have a set of tubes welded to the outside of the existing rails.
