I'm looking to rebuild my suspension on my XJ and was looking at parts. I checked Rock Auto and Moog control arms run 28 bucks. I looked on Oreily to compare and they have a brand called Rare i never herd of for 78. Is Rock Auto a good source for parts? If not a better source for quality parts?

I would add:
1 - Rockauto ships a LOT faster at the lowest price shipping than Amazon does.
2 - I put Moog lower control arms on my 95 and it made a noticeable improvement in stability. The arms were solid and felt very high quality and IIRC were made in the U.S.

Asking if Rock Auto is a good source for parts lol.
They lots of parts.. good parts.. inexpensive parts.
I only ever buy from Rock Auto as a Canadian because even with shipping I come out WAY ahead and 3 days shipping I can wait.

Amazon has been super slow to ship recently. If you're not a prime member it feels like they completely drag their feet on shipping stuff to you.
Rockauto on the other hand is always SUPER fast to ship and is right on top of things. If Amazon has a delay or problem it's like a void - you know nothing, they say nothing, your order just sits there in limbo. RockAuto will tell you if there's a delay and they're very accurate. I ordered a part that was listed as one-day delay and it was in fact, a one day delay. It shipped out exactly when they indicated it would.
Another nice feature of RockAuto is that they will indicate when an item will ship from the same location as an item in your cart so you can easily choose between items to minimize your delivery cost. With the variation in parts sometimes being a dollar or two versus 8-10 in shipping, this is very helpful.
That said - I do exactly what the previous poster said - I compare the prices with shipping when both have the same part and brand and unless I'm saving real money with Amazon, I go with RockAuto, or if I'm looking for a specific brand that one has and the other doesn't then I'll buy from whoever has it.

Their bushings and control arms work great you can save yourself a little money by swapping the bushings out of the existing control arms. Just takes a balljoint press a freezer and a BFH. It's not as easy as dropping in new arms but you gotta press/hammet out the axle side bushings anyway
The ones in the axle are the biggest PITA but doable with hand tools

yeah i had a slight issue with rock auto but fantastic customer service, Bought a mass air flow sensor from them and initially i got the wrong brand sensor but meh if it works i wont complain thing is tho it was broken from the start lol so i sent in a claim and they took it without questions and refunded my money as i was impatient and bought a new one from autozone lol. This particular one took a week and a half to get. Depends on what part it is sometimes 2-3 days but also can be waiting forever lol. But other than that rock auto is the best part site i use.

I've had over 50 orders from Rockauto over the years and they NEVER shipped me the wrong part! Only once was a part defective in manufacture (not their fault) and they shipped me a replacement part overnight! With a free return shipping label. It was a Powerstop brake caliper that popped a seal the first time it was pressurized. I put the old caliper back on for a day. I don't trust Powerstop anymore. Their rotors are junk! JMHO.
I used Moog control arms on my 2000 WJ, replacing all 7 at once, and had no problems for the last 50K miles. I've used Moog ball joints and tierod ends for a long time. Timken for bearings. Both of these companies have been in business for over 100 years.
