"Roar" from wheel only when turning one direction
would that be the wheel bearings? maybe a bad alignment and/or tire?
Circumstances are only above 35mph or so, and quits after 65. When I turn the wheel to the left, the right wheel roars. Sounds like I'm running some Boggers or something; it's all rubber tire noise too. It is ONLY when the wheel turns left; even just a little bit, and ONLY the right wheel. No play in the wheel either, and joints look clean.
I'm going to rotate the tires and see when happens, as my rear thrust angle is off bad due to sagging springs and back shackles, but this is the first time this problem has occured

If you take your wheel off and can move the hub around a little then its bad, your looking for just a little play. Problem is that the have two different hub styles. What year is your jeep??

Not far from here.
Jack the front of the Jeep up and spin the wheel and listen. If it sounds like there's rocks in there I'd guess the hub is gone.
Drive up here and we'll fix it.

At napa they asked me if I had compositie rotors or not and I did not know so I had to look it up. If you have a late 99 year model or newer you have composite rotors. I guess the wheel studs are a different length and the rotors have a slight shape difference and the hub has to match the rotors shape

It specifies that it has 1.5" wheel studs and cast iron brakes.
That should me no difference between hub assemblies. They're all the same that year. 10 or 11 inch brakes.
All other Auto Parts look up's I use don't even specify.

I don't see a listing for different hubs; can't find a distinction either. And I don't have any play in the bearing, but the hub does move in and out a little.

I need new u-joints as it is, so I might as well just replace them. Probably get the Timken from partsgeek as they are the best price right now.
And thank you beatmyjeep, i do appreciate the heads up just in case. As we all know, you never really know lol
