4.56 will be a good fit for 33-34" tires, you said you are currently on 31"s, 4.10/11, would be fine if you don't go above 32". If you do,and as stated most likely you do, have the Dana 35, some will stay don't upgrade the gears, just replace the axle, I say its up to you, there are much stronger options out there.

2: size of tires
-- Are going to increase your tire size? You currently run 31" tires, if you're not going to increase tire size I honestly wouldn't change the ratio. You could have better gains else where for less money. If you're going to increase your tire size let us know what size you will be running then we can suggest a gear ratio.

3: as 5-90 stated engine size

4: as 5-90 state transmission, automatic or manual
Yes i have 31" tires and no i not planning to increase tires size and it's 4.0, automatic and im planning upgrade my jeep to be serious offroading because i not worry about driving on road alot because i have a other car to drive daily to work

or something similar, its not a bolt-n-go option, some fab work involved, but still a good option nonetheless. Chrysler 8.25 (97+), is a bolt in option, and an upgrade, can be found very reasonable.

8.25" ring gear :-) 8.8 has 8.8" ring gear, 9" has 9" ring gear etc.

if you're referring to ratio, odds are if you get a 8.25 out of a jy it will have the same 3.55's you already have.

3.55's are 3.55's exactly the same, what you will get is a stronger rear axle. there is no need to swap the front axle. however if you do regear the rear axle you have to regear the front to match.
