from what i hear most people go with 15X8 with 3.75 or 4.00 bs i think 31's 10.15 X 15 on a rim 15x8 and 4.00 bs the sidewall is right in line with the tock flare i dont know to much about 15X7 though

I always run 15x7 with 10 or 11" wide tires. The reason for this is the sidewall bulges out more and you get slightly more rim protection this way. Also it gives you a tighter bead seat and lesser chance of popping a bead when airing down. Either backspacing will work but 4" is the norm. 4.25" will work as well. It all depend on your preference. I run 3.75 on 15x7 with 31x10.5 tires cuz of my user name. I need mud on my vehicle

Just remember, consider the future when purchasing wheels. Are you going bigger? 12.5", 13.5" etc. If so, then it'll be wise to go with 15x8.

Nah gonna go 15x7 for sure even on 31's32's that are 10.50 it's plenty wide enough and when I air down I'll keep my bead.. I am just undecided on the BS and tossing between 4 and 4.25....Plus I have 30's atm and no plans for new tires till next year..

I think 15x7 4" BS should work just fine and at $38 a shot I can snag a set for about 165 shipped...

I won't be going any wider then a 10.50 tire..Probably go either 31's or 32's but still stick to 10.50" wide...Just not a fan of super wide offroad tires since for what I do the skinner ones work best..

Here some pictures. I had my spare on the rear so i'm running two difference backspacings in the back.

4" backspacing 15x7 31x10.5 tire

3.75" backspacing 15x7 31x10.5 tire

I'm gonna start a new thread about tire/wheel setups and hopefully it becomes a sticky to help with questions like these in the future.

I like the 3.75, sticks the tire out just enough but not extreme. Though the 4.00 doesnt look bad..
