Right rear window regulator
1998 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L L6
One from the junkyard didn't work - bad motor
Purchased an ACI from Rock Auto. Verified I bought the correct one.
The motor is mounted too high on the ACI one. It mounts to the door, but the OEM one mounts right to the regulator.
You can install it but the door check hits on the motor so you can't close the door more than halfway.
Don't understand. There's no other way to install it. Can you help? Thanks.

The ACI doesn't look like the original. I'd return it and find another from junkyard (test it first) or order on from the box/parts store like O'Reallys or AutoBone
