1995 xj cherokee 2 door left front window regulator. Is there a replaceable gear kit for these regulators? What other years will fit the 1995?

I went through this PITA with my 2-door.
I'd think most year XJ 2-door regulators are the same except maybe the earliest years.

No one including Mopar or aftermarket places had new replacements for those regulators that i could find. Nor any of the local bone yards.

I had to order a 2-door regulator from an on-line bone yard site for a good buck. Its working fine a couple years later.
I did an analysis of the old regulator once out, it had worn motor brushes which i could of fixed.

Are you sure its the gears and not the motor? NAPA did have a replacement motor but too late for me.

Whether gears from a readily available 4-door regulator will work, don't know. If it does let us know.
