i'm a new user from Italy, i'm going to buy a set of 15x10 wheels with -44 offset, but i can't try the fitment on the car because the seller will ship them to me.

So i need to know if -44 it's a right offset to get on 33" tyres and eventually 35".

If it's right they don't have to go too much off the car, anyone has pictures of wheels like this on cherokee? i'll get on bushwakers flares but i'm worried about dimensions..

what width are your tires?

I have 33x12.50-15 tires on a 15x8 with a 4" backspacing and a -12mm offset, so -44 seems rather large

If i can help you this wheels were fitted on a wrangler

 

that is pretty wide for a 33x12.50-15

I cant say for certain but -44 is quite a lot of offset
they will stick out about 2" more than normal (-12mm)

 

So -44 it's 32 mm (44 -12) more externa then original?

 

I also find a set of 15x10,5 modular, i think they have 3,75in of backspace are them better?

i don't need to know how measure offset or backspace, but if they are right for cherokee xj...

 

if your backspacing is too small the wheels will come out from the Jeep and you could have problems with the tires hitting your fenders.

I just looked on quadratec.com and they are listing a 15x10" with 3.75" backspacing and -44mm offset as a correct fitment for all years of XJ
