If you don't know there's a battle brewing you can't pick whether to fight it. Once you've broken the gasket you're in the battle. Break the gasket THEN find out the tube is stuck... it's gotta get unstuck. These were my dealt cards. You can't put a new gasket on an rtv covered pan and mating surface without freeing it for cleanup first. There are no options at that point. Nobody seems to understand this for whatever reason. I couldn't possibly foresee not being able to remove the pan for such a moronic reason.
