Hey guys I have a question. The Ac mounting bracket has a bearing in it for the clutch fan pulley correct? How can I replace that bearing or do I have to get the hole bracket

 

What year is your XJ, and what engine do you have?


The bearing can be changed but you may want to look on Ebay for a used one. A new Mopar bracket costs over $200.

 

It's a 96 4.0l

 

A '96 thru '01 bracket will work.


If there isn't one on Ebay try junk yards.


The bracket OEM part number is 53011002.

Thanks man I appreciate it. I've have replaced all my pulleys besides the Ac and power steering and the Ac compresser. But alternator water pump idler clutch fan is all new and I'm still having a bearing noise somewhere just can't figure it out so. But it sounds like that bearing on the clutch fan pulley is where the noise is coming from so imma try that then go from there
