Hi guys....just wondering if anyone can help me. I need a radiator fan shroud for a '96 Cherokee that is a right hand drive vehicle. I'm not sure if the info I got from the dealer is correct or not, but they say the part is shown as no longer available. This is the shroud for the MECHANICAL fan (not the electric one). The photos I've seen online for the regular left hand drive shrouds look very much like what I have, but I just want to be sure before I order one. Any suggestions for parts vendors for the RHD Jeeps would be greatly appreciated as well! Thanks.

Sorry about that; didn't intend to break any of the rules here. I guess I was more looking for some advice as to possible vendors for RHD parts in this thread.

Will do! I bought two '96 Cherokees from Japan and had them re-imported. I'm a rural carrier for the post office and I love using them on the route. Remove the left seat, build a nice mail tray to replace it, fold down the rear seat for more room....install a 10 disc CD changer/subwoofer/receiver setup and you're ready to go!

 

Have you had any luck finding a shroud for the right hand drive? I have looked all over the world and cannot find one.

Have you tried eBay.co.uk? Use terms like Cherokee XJ breaking. Also, join Facebook groups. There is a UK XJ group or five. Join them and ask if anyone has anything for sale. Try No.1# Jeep XJ Cherokee UK Owners Group (Community And Buy/Sell). It's fairly active.
