So, I recently purchased my 2000 xj with 97,000 miles on it a bit over a month ago and so far it’s been great even though a wheel fell off while driving… but anyways I figured itd be a good idea to change my spark plugs. So I take off the throttle cables and the bracket for the cables and go to take out the 4 bolts holding in the coilpack and there are no bolts just 2 brackets bolted to the head. I’m a little confused and don’t know if a heads been swapped or if they came like this after a certain year or what. Any help is appreciated. (Also hole #1 and #4 are like the first pic I included and 2 and 3 are covered by the bracket Hole #2 is covered by the bracket currently holding the coil pack in place Hole #1 near the front

After more research and looking around I figured out what’s going on. Someone changed out the 0331 head for the 0630 as I see the number stamped into it and that explains the bolts not having a hole for the coilpack. That’s why they fabricated these bracket to hold the coil pack in place. I hear the 0630 is a little more reliable but will I come across any issues with it since it’s on a distributorless model? 0630 No holes for coil pack bolts
