Reves up when cold and front end banging

Reves up when cold and front end banging
My 90 XJ sometimes when I start it cold will rev up to 2K rpm and stay there for up to 30 seconds then idles back down, seems to be getting more common.
Left front wheel area bangs like the whole thing is loose, going down hwy if I barely turn wheel left I feel wobble, turn wheel a little to the right and it stops. I grab the tire and try to see if it wobbles but doesn't.
Ideas? Thanks.
