reverse lights not working
Can anyone tell me which fuse feeds the reverse lights on a '92? I've replaced both bulbs but still neither work, so I wanted to start my troubleshooting at the fuse but can't determine which one it is. I have looked up several diagrams on the 'net, but have found a bunch of conflicting info'.

Check the switch on the brake pedal while you are waiting to hear about the fuses.
You can just pull the fuses one at a time and look to see if they are blown.

Could be a fuse, NSS or a ground. Maybe even a open in the harness. I do not have access to a fuse block location at the moment but with the key off you can pull each fuse and check them. I know they are very easy to access on that year.

I can't speak to 92 that well. But I believe the reverse lights are controlled via the NSS (Neutral Safety Switch) which detects the position of the gear shift lever. The reverse lights can have problems due to the NSS, even if no other starting problems are present. Especially on aftermarket NSS where it can be difficult to adjust them perfectly to match the range of the shifter. So this can result from the NSS actually being faulty, or because it is slightly out of adjustment (but not enough to cause starting issues).
Because it is free, and you have nothing to lose...try this. Have a friend help, or in a dark location against a wall or garage door where you can see the reflection of the reverse lights (if they come on). Try shifting into reverse, and then fiddle with the shifter pushing it up towards park. Pressing the button if need be, and play with it in that zone right between reverse and park. See if the reverse lights show any sign of life. If they even flicker a little, it is a good sign that the NSS is responsible.
Unfortunately, if they don't flicker or come on at all during that test it still does not rule out the NSS. But if they do flicker, it will show the NSS or its adjustment as being the likely cause (and not wiring or ground issues).
