I'm having the same issue, it gets warm when the fan is on low but once you turn it up the heat dies out, but my truck also kinda gets warm when I'm stopped but cools as soon as I start driving, the temp gets just past the half way mark and the electric fan kicks on and cools it back down to just below half, I think it might be a thermostat or radiator, also you might check your blend door actuator, I guess they get messed up sometimes

My guess is u are experiencing low/cool ambient temps this time of year so coolant temp should be at or close to the t-stat temp, presuming all cooling system components are functioning correctly. The ECU turns the efan on at 218F coolant temp so it sounds like the motor is getting a little toasty at slow/no vehicle speed which sounds like a weak/bad fan clutch.....especially if ambient temps are low.

Well I just flushed the radiator and reverse flushed the heater core, the truck stays pretty cool now, I'm not getting any fluid threw my heater hose, took it off while it was running and just pulses of a lil water was coming out, thermostat?

Let it idle with the rad cap off and keep the rad full while idling. When coolant starts to overflow out of the rad, install a new rad cap. Be sure coolant level in the overflow bottle is between the marks when motor is cold.
