Default replacing leafs.

I'm wanting to replace my leafs without buying brand new ones, and not lift over 2" if anything. So I have a few questions:
1. Can I use zj or yj leafs and they will bolt right on?
2. Will leafs from a newer model cherokee (95+) bolt right on?
3. I know s10's can be used, but how much lift would this provide?

I kinda just want to find a newer xj and then maybe put a block in the u joint, or add longer shackles. Can I only get longer shackles from a mj for them to bolt on?

Mj shakles are aftermarket shackles are longer and will provide some lift. Leafs from newer XJ's will bolt in but you wont gain any lift if you swap (unless you are sagging). You could use your current and newer XJ leafs but that would net minumal lift and stiffen suspension a bit. As far as S10/Dakota leafs, it all depends on how many leafs you use. You can net anywhere between 1-4/5" depending on the amount of leafs you stack.
In your case I would say combine 2 XJ leafs and use a shackle. And then use some ZJ coils and maybe a 2nd set of coil isolators or spacers up front.

Thank you. Yeah my problem is that I am sagging quite a bit, and my tires will rub the fender walls when I hit big bumps, or have a full load.
Where is a good place to get the shackles? they probably wouldn't have them at an autozone would they?

So, If I went to a u-pull yard, should I just look for the newest xj I could find to take the leafs off of, or should I try to find one with the least miles? I just don't want to end up getting another pair of sagging leafs.

any xj leafs will work. just look for the xj that sits the highest. I do no suggest putting any blocks into your u bolts. They will warp the leafs.
