I need to replace my leaf springs for now until I get a lift. I just had a few questions. First being how in the #@$% are you guys removing the bolts holding the shackles and leaf springs?!!! seems like a tight squeeze for an impact wrench.

also i saw a cherokee at the junkyard that had something under the leaf pack it was maybe12 inches long and kind of looked like a really small leaf would this be a helper spring or a degree shim or what?

sorry for the lack of knowledge im new to jeeps/4x4/and leaf springs lol

Would you be able to just add some springs till you get your lift kit?Go search bastard packs on this site this will be alot easier than trying to break loose all those bolts right know. Then you can clean them up and start to spray the **** out of them all till your kit is in your hands. ( thing at j/y helper spring I would assume). just get a set of s-10 springs or dakota or anything 2.5 inches wide, just dont add to much height.
