Replacing ignition cylinder problem.
i took a steering column out of a 93 automatic xj. The steering column on my 88 is broken. The 88 is a manual. When i put the 93 steering column into the 88, all the wires and connections have matched up. The column from the 93 that i just put in is in lock position and has no key. Am i screwed? I am wondering if it is possible to take the ignition cylinder out of the 88 steering column and put it in the 93 column. Is this possible?
